A blend of beers fermented and aged in wine barrels for an average of 22 months. After blending, the beer was further conditioned on whole Balaton cherries from Jobst Hof Orchards for 5 months before bottling.
The tart cherries beautifully complement the acidic and complex base blend, with bright fruit notes contrasting oak and expressive yeast. The long contact time on the pits has imparted beautiful notes of cinnamon and almond, rounding out the delicate blend.
The blender recommends keeping the bottle chilled upright for at least a day before you enjoy it, and to try to pour all in one go, without "glugging", to leave the lees behind.
