Barrel-aged wild Italian Grape Ale spontaneously fermented with 100% Centesimino (Sauvignon Rosso) red wine grapes of Ancarani (a natural winemaker from Oriolo dei Fichi).
Skin contact, barrel-aged for 7 months with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis yeast.
The result is a ruby-coloured beer, with intense notes of red fruit and perceptible body without giving up a fresh, funky and spicy presence, all enriched by the complexity given by the wood.
Evolving product suitable for aging.
The name chosen for the entire Italian Grape Ale style project is Û, meaning "grape" in the Bolognese dialect. The project consists of two limited edition beers: this one with red grapes were used and its sister Û baccabianca with white wine grapes.
The idea was immediately clear: to work with natural winemakers whose genuineness of the wines Ca' del Brado appreciated, who embraced the philosophy of indigenous yeasts (viscerally linked to a specific grape and a specific place) and cultivated vineyards historically rooted in the territory.
