Mixed-fermentation smoked wheat beer aged in Islay whiskey barrels.

Iconoclastic reinterpretation of a traditional Grätzer / Grodziskie (Polish historical style of smoked & tart wheat ale).

Brewed exclusively with oak-smoked wheat and aged for a few months in Le Soupir's old Islay barrel with brett and bacteria, the beer was blended with a portion of fresh Grodziskie at bottling.

The rustic freshness of the young beer is combined with the complex acidity and peaty notes of the barrel base.
