For this unique Oude Kriek "Foeder Edition", Boerenerf didn't use any maceration tanks. Sour cherries from the 2024 harvest macerated "untraditionally" for six months in their biggest wooden foeder. This was followed by an "untraditional" extra 18 months of aging in a smaller 2500-liter oak foeder untill the summer of 2026.
