Petrichor is all about the interplay between three elements — rich roasted malt, vibrant citrusy hops, and bright oaky gin.

Temporal started with a grain bill heavy in malted rye and hit the beer with a healthy dose of Chinook hops and Citra Dynaboost.

A huge dryhop followed, prominently featuring Boombox's special selected Citra from 2024 harvest along with a bit of Cryo Amarillo.

Finally, the beer was conditioned on toasted oak chips which were steeped in gin from Odd Society Spirits. 

Every single facet has been thought about extensively — from the malted rye, which contributes a full mouthfeel and mild spice notes, to the oak chips, which were toasted heavily to amplify their contribution.

Boombox's Citra is so much more potent than the regular market citra — it has a higher oil content and a massive amount of fruit character. The gin itself is vibrant, with the soaked chips lending vibrant juniper, herbaceousness, and floral notes.

The kettle addition of Chinook hops brings classic piney-ness, the Dynaboost and Cryo round out these additions and add depth.
