This mahogany-coloured bourbon barrel-aged barleywine offers complex aromas of fruit, alcohol and hops. It is lightly sweet and syrupy with a hint of burnt caramel.

Aged 9 months in bourbon barrels, this version of the beer has a woody character which is complemented by aromas of vanilla and bourbon. Amber-brown, with aromas of red berries, caramel, and oak. Slightly tannic finish.

This beer was first crafted at DDC's Montreal brewpub in December of 1998.
